Givrées by Leonidas
The French word "givré(e)" can be translated into English as either "frosted" or "crazy." This dual meaning made it an ideal choice for naming a new line of chilled chocolates by the famous Belgian chocolatier Leonidas. For this project, I developed a branding concept that captures both the rich indulgence of the chocolates and their frosty chill. The design features swirls of dark brown and white, symbolizing the luscious chocolate and the cool frost. I added motion to these swirls for social media, bringing the concept to life. The bold, chunky typeface adds a whimsical touch, capturing the product's playful spirit. I also designed an “icebreaking” animation for the website intro to engage visitors from the start. To further reinforce the frosty theme, I developed a classy white packaging, with the logo in a special silver foil and a sheer white paper sheet that gives a see-through, icy look to elegantly cover the chocolates inside the box. This design merges indulgence with chill, creating a visually striking and memorable experience.
